i swear theres the EXACT same question word for word in the faq's! the fsm and faq's are your friends, also dont be afraid of the search button. 10 minutes of searching is far better than 2 weeks of flaming, trust me i've seen it happen. so bottom line read and search before postng

What's been said, and a compression test for reference to tell you in what shape in general the engine's in.

Firstly, you should learn to use the "search" function. Aaron Cake and Icemark have a great deal of information regarding this. However, I'll allow you this one n00b question.

1. compression check
2. tune-up
3. drive/enjoy

Compression tests are evil. If the car starts cold or hot and the engine runs good, dont take one. It'll just most likely freak you out.

Compression tests should only be taken if something is wrong and you are trouble shooting.

Oh, so revving to keep the motor happy and low on carbon deposits is suddenly a BAD thing? Just where are you getting your information? You're an idiot.

Well you sound like a retard saying rev the living hell out of it, most likly sounding like hey go ping it off the rev limiter for an hour.

Taking your FC to redline once or twice a day keep all the build up from forming enough, IE getting on the interstate and running up through 2nd, is enough.

Also posting arrons website to not make you sound like a noob makes you a noob, just like mill house isnt a meme is a meme

Posting that link simply to provide some backing to my statement. You're wasting your breath.

Pinging off the rev limiter? You said it, not me.

Don't get your panties in a bunch. You're only hurting yourself.

End of story.

OMG STFU, you sounded like a noob and then when someone tries to say that you should REV THE LIVING HELL OUT OF IT, you try to prove yourself right. Now I know that running an RX7 to redline some isn't going to hurt it, not even a lil bit, but when you say rev the living hell out of it, you are telling this new owner it is ok to abuse his car. That is just wrong and honda ownerish.

Because he annoys me. People like this are why I only search now. Threads like OMG what exhaust should i get or is this steering wheel awesome are getting on my nerves a lil annoying. Not to mention some of the crap I read that is replied, for some of these kids this is there first car and they are getting crossed facts, and there is just not enough moderation to get rid of most of the crap. I am not saying that our mods are not doing a good good I am just saying that the work load is just overwhelming at this point.

Learn to string complete sentences together without making yourself look bad. Seriously.

Quit your stupid ******' bitching about how you think me or anyone else is a damn 'noob', because you'll only land yourself in 7club detention. You want to start some ****? Go right ahead! I won't be the one paying for it.

Seriously, read the link I posted. Aaroncake's site has a myriad of helpful information for the Green FC owner. Searching is also a ton of help on here, because most everyone has experienced the standard array of problems and the fixes are posted ten fold.

Congrats on the car.

After posting something like this, you're the only one that looks bad.

Fact of the matter is, its good to rev the rotary some, but not the hell out of it. The guy just bought his car, dont tell him to rev the hell out of it. If you really think that is good advice for someone who knows nothing about 7s and just bought the car, you're delusional.

Bring it close to red line twice or 3 times a day, dont "rev the hell out of it".

Period.

And insults will get you no where, and it brings down your credibility and makes you look like an 16-18 year old.

Hmm...I do recall posting a very informative and credible source of information long ago to back my statement. Clearly, you've got some issue remembering back that far..

In your very informative and credible source, where does it say to "rev the hell out of it"?

I missed it.
