Getting a new engine, WHAT CAN I REMOVE??

Ok, im getting a S4 JDM T2 engine in a week. I wanna know what I can remove? I want to make it as simple as I can.

I dont want **** like the air-pump, oil injectors, etc etc. I dont have to worry about emmissions....

you can make your engine bay really simple.

Remove:
- A/C and all lines
- Power steering & switch to manual steering
- emissions and charcoal can
- oil injectors & omp (run premix)
- air pump (use dual alternator pulley)
- stock fan/shroud (run e-fan)
- install block off plates
- install 3" TID
- use a cone intake w/ S5 AFM
- relocate the battery to the rear

that should do it. that should give you enough room to stand in the bay even with your motor. I know I can.

Why would you remove the OMP and run premix?

youve been here logn enough to have read the many and many threads about premix. if youve ever taken a motor thats not premixed apart you will see that only keeps housing clean where in injects about 3inches up adn down from that spot. and when you premix it will keep it all clean.

also people do it so THEY choose how much oil goes in not throttle/ecu

there are more reason just search

A new resource for everyone to use. I have made several updates to my webpage and tech section, a few more of which are still pending. Check out the page for a writeup on series 4 turbo II emissions removal procedures with pics.
