gettinf rid of the chainsaw sound
I will be putting a true dual settup on my gfs car soon and I would like to know what I can use to get rid of the chain saw sound (some thing like the apexi N1 catback comes with) it has to be kinda small so I can get 2 of them under there, and also easy on the pocket book
thx guys

yes, you could get those mufflers welded in. the presilncer is the one in the pic attached. just surface rust that could be easily removed. I can even sand it down for you tomorrow. how does $60 shipped sound?
well how big is it (length, inlet and outlet size) if I can find another one cheap and if I can fit 2 of them under the car then u have a deal. email me ( zach@thrashin.net)
BTW how much would u sell that dual outlet header for?

ohhh when I asked if I could get the 2 mufflers wleded in I ment to use them as a presilencer before the corksport muffler, is that possible or would that not work to cut the chainsaw noise out

holy cow! yes, that would definately work to quiet it down. that would be like having 3 mufflers in a row on that thing. No, i am not selling the header. hahahahah, that pic was just for reference, sorry. I think you could find another silencer very similar in size to the one i have, yes.
well Iam going true dual so thats why I would need two dynomax mufflers so it would be like this:
so would that setup I just drew get rid of the chainsaw noise?
Code:
=======___@@@@@@_____________######## =======____________@@@@@@____######## === is the dual outlet header ____ is the piping @@@ is the dyno max muffler (or whatever I decide to use) ### is the CS muffler
so would that setup I just drew get rid of the chainsaw noise?

well, rotaries with a header are always gonna sound like that to a degree. its just the way the header is designed, and how it lets the exhaust pulses and flow exit the engine. all i know is that a presilencer smooths out that sound. i only name a presilencer, because that is all i have heard. there could be other things that work too.
