do all 2nd gens rev strait to 3 grand on start up. cuz mine does just wondering if thats normal. personally it seems like it is. also once in awhile when i start it its really really rough and spews white smoke but i turned it off jiggles the spark plug wires and restarted it and it was fine. should i invest in new plugs???? and what are the best plugs for an 87 n/a?

A: Search

B: That's the AWS (Accelerated Warmup System). Mazda put out a bulletin saying that this should be removed from your car. Either rip it out, or start your car in gear.

does it screw it up if it does thatif i drive it on a daily basis. cuz i know if i dont drive it all winter it would probly do something not that good. i was in auto mech class today and the teacher said he had a friend that drove his rx-7 durrign the summer but not the winter and he would put it into gear and pull it so the engine would loosen or something. i wasnt sure if that was any different from just starting it up.has anyone elts heard of this

It doesn't do ALOT of harm or anything to the engine. I just don't particually think the idea of revving a cold engine is smart.
