I have an S5 primary rail I don't intend to use anymore. PD failures are much less common in S5's. PM if ya want'

Well, to be perfectly honest, they fail just as frequently, they just tend not to leak when they do fail. Try cutting apart the end of the welded PD to check the diaphragm, it'll likely be shot, and be no more effective than a banjo bolt.
Mazda PD's are $102 brand new... any cheaper than that, and you'll be needing to look into fitting a unit from another vehicle.

Yeh, but they (The S5 PDs) dont pour fuel on your engine when they do fail usually :-p (From what I've read, dont think I have experience with this for a second)

No kidding. I think I knew that, considering how I stated it in my post.

The point here is to get a working pulsation dampner; its job is not just to prevent fuel from leaking. So while switching to a used S5 fuel rail will prevent leaks, it doesn't do its job as a pulsation dampner, and so it is really no different from a banjo bolt, so why bother with the S5 rail?
