Gearbox switches?

Hey all,

There's three switches on my 86 transmission, i tested continuity on them and only 1 gave a steady reading.

- I only identified 2 through the FSM, the Neutral switch and the 5th&Reverse switch. I've got another one closer to the bell housing, whuzdat?

- Is checking for continuity the correct way to test them?

- Are they necessary? And if so, are there replacements?

Lemme know

Edit: a few searches yielded enough info to not worry about them, the neutral switch will be jumpered out cuz' it's not a vital part, the 5th/reverse switch will be replaced by a part from Atkins. Still wondering what that last switch is though...

There's a condenser (i.e., capacitor), not a switch, that bolts to the top of clutch slave cylinder. It's no longer available from Mazda.
