Gauge Surround?

How do I remove the switches from the gauge surround?

I tried pulling on the ***** to get them off so I could unscrew and remove the switches themselves, but I didn't wanna break them.

I'm mainly worry about the wiper switch, since it's dual stage. Do ALL of the switches on the surround have pull-off *****?

Yes, all the ***** pull off. First thing you need to do. If you're after the wiper switch module, first remove the cruise module then the wiper module. Even with everything out otherwise, you will have to persuade it out a bit as it is still a tight fit.

Well I am removing all the switches and such for painting. Getting the switches out after the ***** are off isn't a problem, it's pulling them off to begin with. So the wiper switch just pulls straight off???

Alright. That's how my other cars were, but I just didn't want to risk breaking a 90$ wiper switch -_-

Thanks. I'll post up pics somewhere when I finish painting.
