Gauge Cluster Sight Glass/Plastic Broken

So I thought I'd be productive and clean up the gauge cluster. Tried to pry off the clear plastic from the rest of it and cracked it in half. (Derp)

Functionally, this has little impact, but it drives me nuts to look at. I read that it's impossible to replace because there's no replacement part for it, but then read that this company in Japan makes replacements (?). I'm not sure what to believe anymore.

As far as I can tell, it looks like I'll have to outright buy another gauge cluster and swap glasses if I want to keep my existing odometer. Kinda feels like a waste, so I was going to ask if you guys have any suggestions.

To be clear, it's part number FB01-55-448A, although I'm assuming it's NLA based on the lack of search results.

Also, would making a lexan/other clear plastic replacement be difficult?

part number is FB01-55-447A, which is NLA. probably your best bet is to find a used cluster, they may be hard to find because they are worth so little

Finding one is not actually too difficult in my opinion, but like I said, it just seemed like a waste to get one just because of the plastic. I suppose that's a moot point if they're not really valuable to anyone. When I bought my FC, it came with an NA gauge cluster despite being a turbo, and I've since wanted to find a turbo's cluster for it (even though lots of people seem to like the voltmeter of the NA). I guess now's a good time for that.

I did more reading anyways, and dug up posts about a company called Cyber Stork that supposedly makes just the plastic cover part. I can't find where you would actually buy it though. Supposedly it was for sale at RHDJapan, but it's no longer listed on their website. Nengun also carries their products, but nothing for an FC.

Atkins' website states they are NLA, but that they have a couple left. You may want to give them a call.

$50 for a cluster with glass, or $50 for the glass with a free cluster.

depends how you look at it, you monkeyed with it so you gotta pay the price.

I have an S4 Cluster, which is why I didn't bother. I appreciate it anyways.

Yeah, I get it, which is why I'll probably end up going that route.

it's good to have a spare anyways, in case the oil pressure gauge decides to ground out, which is rather common and the result is a dead gauge.

Whoops, I didn't pay enough attention to the part numbers.
