Gauge CLuster removal - Help please! (Pictures)

So i was in the middle of removing my cluster. Ill be honest, i probably have the slightest clue on how to properly, if not just remove it from its place. Now i got stuck. How is it that i can get my hands into the back to either unplug or remove the cabling so that i can take it out.

Here is where i got stuck, im pretty sure theres the right way and the wrong way. n' im pretty sure i chose the wrong way haha. So some guidance would be great.

Im a beginner to installation and removal of components. Im just trying to learn for future referencing, and personal reference. Thanks!

Here are the pics.

Thanks in advance!

after that, reach up from behind the cluster and unplug the speedo cable. this should give you a couple of inches to pull the cluster out farther and remove the harness that are clipped to the back of the cluster. when you unplug the speedo cable, you must depress a clip on the side and it will pull straight out.

Reach Up from underneath, and disconnect the speedo cable, and the connector on the back.

You might also be able to tilt it and reach behind.

Its been a while since I've done it, but its pretty easy.

i've always been able to pull the left side of the cluster out and get my hand back there to remove the speedo cable.

I didn't find it too easy to get the speedo cable out. What a PITA. You just have find a way to get your hands in there. A couple of skinned knuckles later and I had it out. Maybe I just have fat hands though. LOL
