gasket question

gasket question

i just bought this high temp gasket sealer and i was wandering if that would work on the s4 core that im building on since the parts i took off of it were held on by it since im swapping my s5 stuff on it.

Not sure I understand the question, but it should work for any engine, it wasn't specifically designed just for the S5.

Personally, I do use the gaskets. The sealer works with gaskets or without, but I've always used gaskets when ever there is a gasket available for the parts I'm putting together.

There are certain gaskets which are downright required.

One is the front oil cover gasket, since you need it to support the white plastic ring.
I would recommend using the LIM -> engine gasket, since there are tiny holes for the air bleeds for better idle quality; using any "liquid" gasket here will most likely plug those holes and ruin your idle.
I don't think you have a turbo, but you need the stupid gasket for the oil supply and drain flanges for the turbo.
