Gas tank straps - which one goes where?

Which gas tank strap is on which side? One has a hook to stay up till u put a bolt on the front. Also the straps have smaller bolts near the front big holes. What are they for and do they end up on the outer or inner side? Sorry no pic

Labelled almost everything but just a few hiccups lol almost everything back on.

Now on the front side, those brackets have tabs where a smaller bolt (not the one that holds the strap to the body) threads in (maybe for exhaust heat shield?). So those will either be on the inside or outside. Also, one strap has a hook welded to the front bracket to hold it on before you put a bolt through the bracket. Not sure which is the left and which is the right strap.

Old pic from member MSEFI<FC>

Shows the small brackets on the front side of the straps that have bolts that thread on to them (not the large bolts). So, hoping the pic shows the correct way. But the question remain...what are the small bolts holding on?

I'm now remembering the small brackets w small bolts on the front of the straps are prolly for the heat/debris shield at the front of the tank. So I'll check if it goes on whichever way I have the straps.

Edit: parts fiche shows hook on right side strap (pass side).

I'll see if this all adds up lol.

I replaced my fuel tank less than a year ago, but I did it without taking the straps all the way off!

This is the only decent picture I have with the straps in the background. Not sure it's much help - I'd go with the parts diagram.

FYI for anyone in future. The tank strap with the hook does indeed go on the passenger side (LHD cars to be clear).
The small brackets where the small screws thread in near the front of each strap end up facing each other.
They are for the aluminum shield between the tank and differential.
