gas tank interchange question
quick question for the FC gurus....... i have access to a rust free vert gas tank but im not sure it it will fit in a regular hard top FC.. well guys are the gas tanks the same or are they different? both cars are 91... thanks

All you need about swapping out gas tanks in 2nd gens:
All S4 gas tanks are the same. Direct tank swap.
All S5 gas tanks are the same. Direct tank swap.
To put an S4 tank into an S5, you'll need the S4 fuel pump assembly, pigtail for the assembly, and the two mounting straps for the tank.
To put an S5 tank into an S4, you'll need the S5 fuel pump assembly, pigtail for the assembly, and the two mounting straps. You should also get the S5 heat shielding for the mufflers given they are slightly larger to stay between the slightly lower drop of the S5 tank.
