Gas pedal won't go past 3500 rpms...
Hey guys, gotta dilema here, it's very hard to get the gas pedal to go "boost" past 3000-3500 rpms, I have to really push hard & when it does the motor revs to 4500 rpms & stays there.
It feels like an actuator is getting stuck or something
I have a hybrid with a modified s5 mani, if I try move the rod attached to the TB linage in front of the TB (behind the altenator), it feels like it's getting hung up on something so I pulled the belly pan off & lubed the arm it swivels on below & still nothing.
Throttle cable is fine, I took off the TB & everything moves fine. I disconnected the throttle cable while it was revving high once & it didn't have an effect...it moves smooth.
any suggestions & it's not the floor mats..
Thanks guys

Have you checked to see if your throttle plates are free in TB when you had the cable off...
There is only the pedal assembly, throttle cable and throttle plates that move when you hit the gas (and MOP linkage on an S4) and cruise cable if so equipped.
Binding could only be one of those things....check them ALL.
