gas mileage

hi guys i was thinking of getting an s4 or s5 n/a and was just wondering what kind of mileage they got. ive heard a lot of people say that rotaries got horrible mileage and was wondering if this was true. also what kind of mileage do TII's get.

Can't speak for TIIs, but I would pull around 23-25 highway, and 17-20 city. I'm VERY easy on gas typically. I think average is around 20-23 highway, and 14-17 city... I've seen people (88integrals comes to mind) that are getting around 26-27 highway...

if you use it like it's meant to be used, yeah it's pretty crappy. but if ur thinking about MPG u'll hopefully use the mpg light which will get you about 20 city and 30 highway. I've heard of someone getting 32 highway, which must have been a long trip with 2k on the tach. I mix in both driving styles and get 15 city. I hate highways so I have no figure there.

Man, you cant say "I get XXX miles per a tank", cuz no one knows how much is in a tank, plus, you dont run the tank down to the absalute bottom.

Anyway;

I get 20-26MPG on my slightly modded '90 N/A 'Vert. I drive very hard.

You really have to drive it to find out. Everyone varies a lot. I'd say I've gotten anywhere from 15 to 24.

both s4/s5 n/a are not bad with gas. TII is still within 14-16 range without heavy mods. still better than H2

if you are really concerning about MPG, then get n/a. Please don't let the MPG of rx7 scare you away if you love rx7

'89 TII since new, just about 20 mpg overall. Don't beat the car at all, but with the G Force upgraded ecu it's around 18.5.

if you plan on modding your rx7 for racing purpouses gas mileage is the last thing you should worry about. i use mine as a daily driver/auto x/drifting and i probably get about 15mpg but i wouldnt know for sure because i dont let my tank drop below 1/4 of a tank.
