gas line?

gas line?

i just replaced the gasline with goodyear gaslines they look the same as the factory lines... but will they hold up same because i aslo saw some other lines with a inner liner for fuel injection. doest the stock pump above 60 psi? will i be ok?

i am using the same fuel line. its expensive stuff. lol cost me 35 bucks for 6 feet. but i haven't had any issues with it and ive been running if for 4 months with the turbo fuel pump;

As long as it is marked "fuel injection line" you will be OK. And yes, it is about 5-6 USD a foot. If you bought some fuel hose that was like 1-2 USD per foot it isn't rated for fuel injection.

If it says "30R7", then this is for carbs only.
Do NOT use it on your FC.

You need the "30R9" rated line for fuel injection.

It sounds like you got the 30R7 type.

i put on 30r7 fuel hose its rated at 50psi but what i found out at two sites the stock pump is rated at 40psi... what is my stock n/a s4 gxl fuel pump rated at 40psi? if the hose is rated at 50psi i should be alright?

looks like i have to get the other kind of line...then take off the line i just put on. oh well =/ ill have to take off the uim anyways to block off the emissions
