hey i cant get my gas door to stay closed. i pulled on the little lever and it opened but now it cant stay closed.

 

the line is rusted on the inside and may need to be lubed...if u find out how to lube it..let me know....also...check the locking mechanism itself...mine was stuck and after abit of carb cleaner and wd40 its workin again....

 

I dunno if it's rusted, but it tends to stick in these cars.

Peel back the carpet backing *inside* the hatch.
You should be able to access the lever by the gas door.
Just jiggle it to allow the lock pin to release back into the door to keep it closed.
