Gas in crankcase...What the #!?*%$!?

Here's one for you rotor heads... I"ve aquired an 87 RX-7 for zero dollars. So far, a good deal. Upon draining the oil before I attempted to fire it up, I discovered black gasoline with a small amount of oil in it. I drained and then filled it with Castrol 20-50. After getting it to run, it has an erratic idle fluctuation from 700 RPM to 2000 RPM. It is a very consistant fluctuation almost as if you were doing it with the throttle. After running it for a total of about 15-20 minutes, I checked the oil. The level seemed higher than when I changed it, so I pumped out about a quart. Again I discovered oil that had been dilluted with gas. It is also dripping this concoction out of the muffler flange under the car. It doesn't smoke at all sometimes and other times I can't see across the garage. I've changed the leaky injectors but I'm at a loss as to where this is coming from. HELP!!!

What else did you do besides change the oil? What model is the car? What kind of concoction is it?

I've only changed the oil and run a few tests..throttle position sensor, timing, ect. The goo appears to be oil dilluted with gas. I thought it might be the seals, but if that were the problem, I would expect it to smoke all the time and not sporadically. Sometimes I can run it for 5 minutes, no smoke. Hit the gas and instant cloud. Other times it smokes on decelleration. Maybe that is why it was free!!
