A trusted brand (Shell, Chevron, Amoco, etc) of 93 octane for safety.

You can get away with running 89 octane in the winter 'IF' you are not running hard, but its really easier and safer just to stick with 93 octane.

TNabb,
Brotha, These guys say use the highest octane usually cause they have very modded cars. If you have a car with mods on it go with higher octane, if you have a stock car, go with what it says to use in your owners manual. Thats a good rule of thumb for ya. If you want to know specifics on why to do this pm me and I'll tell you all I know.

Aamco (better refinement) or Chevron (teckron) - nothing else.

I've ran (for the last week that I've had my car so far) 94 from Shell, I'll use the highest octane I can get, the safer the better.
