Garrett T04S04 ball-bearing turbocharger ?

K2RD sells this turbo. Anyone useing it or know someone who is? Is this a big turbo ....but is a ball-bearing. so it will spool easier? I dunno ..can anyone tell me about this.

I used the non-BB version of it for over 11k miles(it's now for sale). It has almost exactly the same exterior demensions as a T-66 but, spooled a little quicker than my current T-66.

It is almost the same thing as a T04S. In fact, the T04S is a copy of the T04S04 except, that the T04S has a 4" inlet vs the T04S04 3" inlet.

I have a GReddy undivided manifold. I think the turbo cost about $1k.

What kind of power are you making with that turbo, where did you get that manifold? is it similar to the HKS manifold.

What major mods do you have.

With me tuning, I got 359 rwhp at 16 psi.

The manifold is the one that comes with the GReddy turbo upgrade kit. This one hugs the engine quite nicely unlike the HKS that almost and sometimes does make the compressor hit the frame rail. I don't know if you can buy the manifold separately from the kit.

OK.. thats great power...right around what i'm shootin for. i;m in the houston area... and still looking for a place to get a motor built at.
