Fuse for Horn?
Fuse for Horn?
Ok I did a search and found no direct answer to this.
My horn is not working at all. I have a 1990 Turbo II. Just got it back from Marvelspeed and it runs beautifully! Everything else electronically seems to be fine...well windwos and sunroof open...but very slow.
Anyway I found that one thing to check is the connection on the sterring wheel. Everything looks good there.
Is there a fuse for the horn? If so where is it...I have no fuse diagram
If that dosen't do it what else could it be? I heard some talk about rewiring the cpu...but I rather make that the last thing to try.
I need to figure this out soon cause I am driving this bad boy with old 98 stickers haha and I can't pass inspection until the horn works

i have the eaxct same problem at one point in time the horn would work everyonce and a while and if it didnt i would hear a clicking sound from under the dash and now i have NOTHING any one have any ideas the fuse is good...
Icemark’s right, the most likely cause is the CPU. Unfortunately there are no online S5 wiring diagrams, but if you get the Body Electrical System chapter from www.fc3s.org there’s a schematic of the CPU showing which pins relate to the horn relay. Test to see if this is working properly.

I hate my horn. It only works 2% of the time, never when there is a hot chick walking by or when some retard in a honda cuts me off. that sounds like alot of work, mucking with the cpu just to get the horn working. Has anyone tried to just rewire the horn directly from the button to the noise maker thingie?

Its like a 30 minute job
probably would take longer to trace down the wires, wire a relay and hppk it all up for a bypass than to remove and resolder the CPU.
