Funny thing about my brakes....
I bled them last night because I had no pedal action at all. I thought I simply had some air in my lines. I knew I had a brake leak somewhere, I just figured it was coming from my ABS pump.
I was wrong.
I was bleeding the rear passenger caliper and every 4 - 5 pushes on the pedal would produce air bubbles even after the fluid ran clear. This was confusing so I did the other side and it bled normally. Well, I went to turn the car around so I could do the fronts and I was rewarded with NO brakes again. The master cylinder was full and I had primed the brakes so I was starting to get a little angry.
I had my father pump the brakes while I looked under the car and sure enough, I could hear hissing. I scanned around and I found that one of my hardlines had developed a REALLY bad leak.
So, my question is this. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? I'm going to fix it, but I want to make sure that any hardline can work. There is an NA non ABS car in the junkyard I can probably scavenge from if it will work.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Its only a matter of time before everyones brake lines do this.
I would personally would replace all the brake lines and fuel lines with SS lines to get rid of any later problems, but its much easier to get a pre bent hard line off a FC.
My main fuel line had about 4 leaks in it because it was so rusted, and the return line had one leak.
My brake lines are fine which is a surprise.
