Fuelpump ????
Ok. 89 GTU N/A. When I turn the key to the on position, the fuel pump doesnt make any noise. Checked all the fuses and the EGI relay and all is good. What do you think.
Second Ques.
When I turn the key to the ON position, the fuel pump makes no noise. Then I press the brake and the pump starts circulating fuel. If I hold the brake pedal the noise decreases, let go and it increases.

Your fuel pump should not come on when the car is turned to the ON position. Unless the motor is running, the AFM sends a signal to the ECU inhibiting the fuel pump operation. In order to check the pump while the engine is off, you need to jumper the fuel pump check connector.
