Fuel Thermo Sensor wft?

I was asked to get some infor from a friend. I searched and never found anything about. I was wondering what exactly this is. This error code pops up, but not exactly sure what it means or how to fix it.

no, its not a 3rd gen. his is a 2nd gen. Its coming up code 23, Fuel thermosensor.

(LLSSS)

I'm looking at the list of what the codes mean and thats what it is telling me. I'm rather confused on this one.

Right below the alternator, screwed into the backside of the waterpump housing. Kinda near the thermostat as well. That should give you some idea where to look....

That is a water thermosensor....not sure if it is the same one that you are looking for....but worth a shot. My local Napa Auto Parts store had one in stock for ~$22....I swapped mine out with a spare I had laying around....but it didn't help me.

You're reading the wrong FSM! Code 23 is for the fuel thermosensor on a 3rd Gen FSM, but we don't even have one. Get the right FSM before you try to do any more trouble-shooting.

Also, there is no code 23 for a S5. Are you sure you're reading that right?

Thats what the damn list is show it as. Maybe if other people took the time actually list the number correctly it would make a difference. The thing is deffently put out two long pulses, and 3 short. making 23

There is no code 23 on a S5. Probably he is reading two codes. A code 2 and a code 3
