There is a drain plug in the bottom of the fuel tank. You can drain the tank this way. You could pour something thru it while that bolt is out also to flush it.

Just buy a new one. Less trouble. Cleansers will never get it all the way clean.

ahah i would if i had i could find the people who drive rx7's on guam

im one of the only few people that has a rx7

rx7s here on guam are totally rare.. that means aftermarket parts and parts period are hard to come by..

we only have napa and diamond auto parts here on island..
and most of them have just replacements for stock items.

im one of the select few that have a rx7
well one of the few that are driving an rx7
most of the other rx7 owners here have there car junked or just letting it sit in the backyard

I woudlnt worry about a dirty tank for the most part. Drop some acetone, a little gasoline, and some Isopropol alcohol in there and let it sit for a day or 2. shake it up and drain it. As long as your fuel pump has a clean sock on it it will keep the debris from being sucked in.

Where can you get a new stock gas tank? I've heard the dealership discontinued them but I haven't checked for myself.
