Fuel Smell/Consumption/Backfire

These are the problems that I am experiencing. The last time I had a fuel smell my O-ring was bad on onw of the injectors. However this does not seem to be the case this time. The car backfires quite a bit after deaceleration and also while at an idle speed, like in 5th after the engine is warm. And I have noticed a slight increase in gas usage. Any ideas if all these may be linked together? Or Seperate?

If it's happening at idle, the best bet is to run the engine, and sniff around the engine bay. you should be able to at least isolate a side of the engine, or even if it's coming out the exhaust. Make sure you check your pulsation dampner!!!

The smell could be the fuel filter. As for the backfiring 7's do that but sometimes the tps is set wrong, like mine was at 2k ohms, u should reset it to 1k ohms.
