fuel rail set to suit 14mm injectors

hello i have a series 4 fc, i have bought rochester 1000cc injectors for both the primary and secondary, i have seen a few kits ranging from 360.00 to 150.00 wondering if there is a large variation in quality in these kits, or am i getting ripped off with the more expensive ones. here are some examples

If I am correct, you can actually file some plastic off of those injectors and make them fit.
The injector has 3 plastic rings around the inlet and you can take a file and get at 2 of those to bring it down to the metal.,it should then fit the rail with a regular spacer grommet and the O ring.
(Please get a 2nd opinion before doing this as I dont want to spread any dis-information).
I have seen Ford 1600's(1680's) done like this to fit the secondary rail.

The RPM rails use the 11mm injectors
and on a side note the Guy is located in Auzzie-Land!.shipping for the RPM's would counteract things.I think.

You mentioned filing the plastic rings down. You would think shipping wouldn't be THAT much more.

Nope. Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

I've had multiple orders from him arrive to RI in only a few days. The risingrpm set is cheap enough (and beautiful) that you might be able to talk to a machine shop (find a friend) and have them bore the set out to 14mm, and still have your total come out cheaper than some sets out there. I talked to the workshop warrior and he will not be offering them in 14mm. He said to buy the correct injectors.

The 14mm banzai set doesn't seem excessively expensive and is from a reputable rotary store. You might want to consider them if your looking for something to just drop in without modifications and actually get knowledgable customer support. **** eBay man. Seriously.

I ended up just getting replaceable 11mm tops for my id2000's that were 14mm when I received them used off another member on the forum. Cost me 14$.

i doubt shipping is going to make or break it, i have used the RRPM rails and they are good quality. it's easier to modify the injectors than to get a whole new rail to suit them.
