Fuel Question!!!

I'm almost finished doing this setup, and was wondering if the fuel pressure gauge can be mounted on the feed side of the system and make no difference? It can screw right into the side of the "Y" fuel block and would make things alot easier. Thanks!!

Anthony

It's generally best to gauge your pressure after the rails, a little bit more accurate picture of what's all going on, since there will be pressure drop/etc through the Y/fittings/rails/etc.

Thanks very much. It's just that I have the FPR mounted on the firewall behind where the throttle body inlet is. I started building a custom inlet that wont point back towards the firewall so it should'nt be a problem when I get it done. Thanks Again!!

It should work with the fuel pressure gauge connected to the Y-splitter block.

i hooked mine up at the morso y fuel block.

reted you might want to change something on your link. i did you parallel setup on my n/a and found out that i had to change out my secondary fuel rail. local rotary/machine guy built a custom fuel rail to fit a 6an. but man does it feel good now. acceleration picked up very nicely. my car is all ready for nitrous just have to buy the kit now. plus plan to do this on turbo now.

I've got an aeromotive bolted to the firewall as well, and I've got the gauge connected right to it, so I just pop my hood and there it is for the moment, shortly I'll be moving to an electronic gauge inside the car.

Aeromotive A1000 pump (thinking of upgrading to the eliminator instead)
-8AN from the pump to the firewall
Aeromotive 10micron (irrc) filter
-8AN out from there to the top of the block
NOS -8AN to two -6AN Y
-6AN to each fuel rail
-6AN to each inlet on the Aeromotive FPR
-6AN return
