Fuel Pump Q.

I went to put a Walbro in my newly bought S5 TII today. And I found that it had a Denso pump 195130-0640. Is this a Stock fuel pump or an aftermarket? I did a search and found other Denso fuel pumps, but not this particular one. Should I leave this one in or put the Walbro in?

That is my plan, I was just curious about this Denso. Looking to get some sort of info on it.

It's like sorta dark green, right?
Denso makes the stock fuel pumps.

It's my understanding that if you just swap the fuel pump with the Walbro, you'll run rich. Unfortunately, I don't know what the solution is. Maybe just lean it out with an SAFC, and/or buy an FPR to replace the stock one. I have noooo idea.

correct! You'll need a fuel controller such as the SAFC. One would be unwise to think you could stick in a walboro and all of a sudden get a boost in power. More like a loss of power, unless you need that much fuel.

Youre all right there. SAFC will be in the car when it is all done. There are many mods on the engine, but needed to upgrade the fuel pump. And I just needed this question answered. Thanks everyone for your input.
