Question Fuel problem

I have a 1987 mazda rx-7 turbo that i have been working forever on. Anyways i installed a new starter, fuel pump, fuel injectors, and a full tune up. Every time i start the engine it cuts off after a few minutes like if is not getting enough fuel. I press the gas pedal so it wont cut off but it hesitates and pops like its trying to stay on but it eventually cuts right off again. I checked my fuel rails and they are getting fuel, but when i installed the new injectors the connections that go to the injectors where kind of old and one was broke frome the side, I was thinking that my connections are not letting my injectors work right but i dont know. I sprayed starting fluid and it runs good but it just idles at 2k rmp but when i get ready to press the gas the rmps go up very slow then it tries to cut off. Can anybody tell me what can be wrong with it. THANKS

Could be anyone of several things. You best bet is to work through the troubleshooting matrix in the engine section of the factory service manual. Other than that, assuming the car ran before you did all those installations, retrace your steps to verify everything was installed and connected correctly.

But first check the connector on your AFM. Maybe you forgot to reconnect it when reassembling your intake. That can cause the symptoms you are experiencing.

Question Spark

Ok I was checking my connections and they were all good. So when i got ready to start the engine it would not start. I sprayed some starting fluid down the intake but it still will not start. So i checked my ignition to see if i had spark but there was not spark. 2 days ago when i started the engine i checked my ignition and it had plenty of spark. What could of happen did my coils went bad or what. When i first got the car I replaced my coils with used coils that i got from the junkyard, they worked good but then they went bad. So i put my old coils back on and they worked good but they stop passing spark again. I checked all my fuses and they are all good. I also checked my afm connection and is pluged in. What could of happen is it bad coils or could it be a bad ecu.
