If its a stock one, 2 bolts, the fuel return line, and the vacuum reference line are all that hold it in. You shouldn't have to move anything out of the way IIRC.

Cool thanks for the info...now another question. I just finished talking to the guy selling this car and he also said it will need cats because of the faulty pressure regulator leaned the motor out and burned up the cats, does that sound right?

Its possible. Do you live in an area that requires emission testing?

Yes, but they only test the cars that are '96 and above...'95 and below is only a visual, so I could get away with punching out the cats, maybe?

Yes, but if it is a S$(86-88) then you may not have functioning auxiliary ports. Sometimes they will still work even if you punch out the cat, sometimes they don't. If you do a search you can come up with what you would want to do.

It's actually a 1990 vert, I'm new to the rotary scene, so your info is really appreciated. I'm used to just punching out the cat on the piston engines and not worrying about anything after that.

Would installing the new regulator fix the burning of the cats issue or do you think there is something else amiss? His is offering the car for only $1200 or best offer...
