Exclamation Fuel Pressure Help!!!!!!!

Ok, My 1990 gxl broke down on the way home. I was driving normal when I got it into third gear and hit about 3 grand, when out of no where it felt like my intake or exhaust got plugged. I lost all my power to my engine and it felt like my engine went into limp mode. I had to almost floor it an keep my foot on the gas, then about half way home my car stalled out so, I pulled over to check it out. When I went to start it again it was backfiring, shaking and running like ****. I thought my problem could be my after market fuel pump so, I went an pulled off the both fuel lines and turned the key to on and gas came out of the fuel hose. I hooked the hoses back up to the pump and try to start my car again, this time my car tryed to idle on its own still running like **** but it did idle for about 2 mins then stalled out, and I went and disconnected an reconnected my fuel return again. The car started and it idled again. So, I got into my car and drove home(15miles) with my foot always on the gas an almost to the floor. About a week later I checked almost everything with multimeter and etc... I also replaced a bunch of small things battery, spark plugs, air flow meter and ecu. Then I tryed to start my car it does not backfire anymore and still shakes a little bit, but it sounds strong and like it wants to start. So, then about another week went by when I remebered that I heard a wierd noise coming out of the fuel tank, so I looked in my book and it said to jump the yellow wire on the left side of the block and I turned the key on and the pump didn't shut off! So I went and bought a new fuel pump and it is a lot quieter then before but, it also stayed running with the ignition is on!! So, I decided to leave the jumper wire in will I disconnected the return line when I saw fuel coming out of it! So, my question is do you think my fuel regulator is bad and if my engine is ok? If the fuel pressure regulator is bad what can I do to fix it? It is not like s4 with the detachable fuel regulator. It's built in to the secondary fuel rail! I would like a after market fuel regulater. Please Help!!!!

Man thats a toughie, all those symptoms indicate a vacuum leak. If you had no fuel pressure at all due to a failed FPR, the hose, IMO, would be easy to squeeze with the car running. Not enoughe pressure to the injectors would defenitly lean it out I would think, not to sure if it would cause what you have explained above.
Does the exhaust smell of gasoline? you could be running insanely rich due to an unplugged or failed coolant temperature sensor.

If you can, check the codes, see what it brings up, I personally think that one of your vac hoses has cracked open or something, popped off, who knows, and you have a vac leak.

Yeah, I had engine codes before and after my rex stop running

CODES BEFORE BREAKDOWN
20 - MOP position sensor
27 - OMP
30 - split air bypass
33 - port air bypass

CODES AFTER BREAKDOWN
25 - solenoid valve-pressure regulator control
30 - split air bypass
33 - port air bypass
40 - purge control(auxilary port valve)
41 - VDI

All the codes are right, I just don't know If they are the right translations for the codes.. Sorry, I forgot to post them with the thread this should help you guys out

Forget about the codes for now- what are your compression numbers (just in case Hailers is right, he actually is sometimes)
