Fuel Pressure

I have a 89 N/A. Wondering what the max fuel pressure should be. I bought a replacement from NAPA and if pushes 30psi, my old one pushes 50psi is this ok

The max fuel RAIL pressure is about 38-40 psi on a n/t car. The PUMP pressure is somewhere around 70psi. It's the fpr that regulates the 70 down to 40psi. Exact figures are at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com in the FUEL section of the manual of your choice.
