is it worth buying the bleed-off kit for 60 bucks or would the 5 dollar switch do it for me .... which works best for whoever installed one or other

I assume you're talking about injectors leaking and slightly flooding the engine after shutdown.
I feel the need to point out that your car has 4 fuel injectors. CruzinPerformance (http://www.cruzinperformance.com/fuelinj.html) charges $12/injector + return shipping cost for full reverse flow ultrasonic fuel injector cleaning. This works out to $48 plus shipping, so... somewhere around $55 or so to get your injectors professionally cleaned.
$60 for a fuel pressure bleed is, quite honestly, a waste of money that would be better spent getting injectors cleaned.
I vote for the $5 switch (and where are you paying $5 for a dinky little switch?) and a good solid fuel injector cleaning. Even if your car no longer floods (it shouldn't), the switch is still convenient for short start situations (like moving the car from my parking lot to the gas station next door), as well as for eliminating fuel system pressure before taking the fuel system apart.
