Which fuel injectors are on my 88 FC?

Alright.

I am in a bind. My FC keeps flooding when hot and now has started to stall out and flood while at lights. It is really embarrassing to have to get out to remove the FI fuse underhood to get in un-flooded.

By the way, it is only giving me serious problems when it is raining out as well! Stupid car!

Sorry, had to rant.

I want to get some replacement Fuel Injectors to send out for re-build/replacement but I can't afford to have my car sitting around for a week or two until the originals come back, I have to get to work somehow....

I have a late production 1988 FC, 8/88. I can't remember which type of injector I had, high-impedence or low-impedence....help me out guys.

Also, any good places you know to send them to? Cheaper the better, but quality work only. Willing to pay for a better quality job.

88's and up had high impedence injectors. You can send your injectors to RC Engineering. They have a good reputation.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting. There is a way to find out through the VIN number right?

Yeah, or just look under the air filter/AFM for the resistor pack.

Does any one have pics of the resistor pack?

Other than looking for the pack is there a way to check it like Vin or something like this?or after certain month??

The resistor pack is a large maybe 4 1/2 inch metal rectangluar box with 5 wires coming out of it. Looks like there are 4 white regtangular sticks in it....

DOn't have a pick available, but if you have it you can't miss it. Or when you pull the injectors just use an ohm meter across the 2 leads
