fuel injectors

I'm wanting to upgrade the turbo of my stock series 5 RX7. The turbo I intend to install is rated at 400rwhp. I'm just wanting to know size fuel injectors I'll be looking at needing to install to get the maximum amount of horse power out of the turbo that I can.

Bnr stage 4?

Id say 720prim and 1200sec, then you should be safe on 14psi. But since 1600cc are easier to find and most often cheaper, id go for those.
then you have plenty of headroom.

What are your other mods to reach 400Rwhp?

I don't need to do any further modifications to achieve 400rwhp. Are there any disadvantages to using fuel injectors that are much bigger than required? Would fuel economy be affected in any way?
Also, how many injectors do 13bs have in them? Can I replace all of the stock injectors with 1600cc ones?

are you sure?

what kind of engine management do you have? exhaust?
bigger injectors will me tuned down by mapping, so no disadvantages...

you must be joking? asking about fuel economy when you want 400rwhp?
and if you dont even know how many injectors you have, do your homework first!
like i said... 720primary and 1600 secundairy

550/1680 will do it too depending on your fuel pressure (base fuel pressure and fuel pump wiring)

as far as fuel economy, well it's going to suck when you are in boost. but if it's tuned properly and you stay out of boost you should be able to do at least low 20s on the highway. expect maybe 12mpg around town, that's what I get and I'm in that power range.

What turbo is this exactly?

there are a couple of other minor modifications that had already been done to the car when I got it. it has an aftermarket exhaust system and a microtech ecu.
In regards to fuel economy, my question was whether fuel consumption would be unnecessarily high if I had larger fuel injectors than are required. I wasn't asking how substantially it would be impacted upon going from stock to 400rwhp. Obviously changing the power output of the car to this extent is going to have a fairly significant impact on fuel economy.
The turbo is an IHI RHB7.
According to this website some modifications have to be done to standard fuel injectors before you can install them in an RX7.

Are there fuel injectors available that don't require these modifications?

I don't think so. I've read the stock fuel system can only go 250 flywheel HP and thats pushing it, You need bigger injectors.
