fuel injectors

can I put a set of 87 tII injectors in my 88se will it work ? I think I need more fuel as I have a cone air filter and high flow cat and high flow mufflers ? thanks chris

changing the injectors won't give you more fuel unless the ECU knows you have bigger injectors. If those are your only mods, you shouldn't need bigger injectors.

bigger injectors are not needed until you are putting out over 250hp.

Infact just putting in bigger injectors has been proven to actually lower HP unless significant mods have been made to the engine and a stand alone or pggybacked fuel controller is added.

that is incorrect, bigger injectors will dump more fuel in, but the ECU will think it is still dumping in the same amount of fuel as before the bigger injectors were installed.

Then the ECU will think you are running rich and try and compinsate, just making the situation even worse.

this is probibly a dumb question but do oyu need to do any thing if you put a after market filter/intake on the car like i just put a hks on my car
