Fuel injectors?
Fuel injectors?
I searched google and this site,
i think my fuel injectors my be bad or at least one. I know that I can ohm the ones on my 240sx s13 but was unsure about my rx7 fc turbo
Big question:
is there a way to do a drive way test with out taking the injectors some place?
thanks in advance!!!!!

My understanding is no, there's not much you can do in the driveway.
Assuming that the wiring is OK, your best move would be to send them someplace like WitchHunter Performance and get 'em done right.
If nothing else, read their website, it's full of info.
I've used them in the past, very fast turnaround and reasonably priced ($21/injector, IIRC).

Fuel Injector Cleaning $24 per, but 24hr turn around
witchhunter is a week turnaround

open your phone book, im betting even in wyoming there is a local fuel injector shop
I have like 8 of them within 1 hour driving distance, same day or next day service too. Ask a good local repair shop or dealer who they use.

lucky, we have one and the guy doesn't even really know exactly what he's doing. had to give feedback to try and get his process bugs worked out, had issues with injectors sticking.
one old geezer at a carb shop laughed and said go buy some new ones, i hung up the phone and shook my head. some people will never exit the stone ages.

WYOMING SUCKs everyone i have talked to at shops said ..."you cant rebuild injectors" just buy a new one" i seriously wanted to freak out ...i just walked out
RotaryEvolution - i also did that compression test last night as best i could with a normal compression tester had three even jumps at about 80 and listed to it and sounded good and smooth ( i think ) cleaned plugs again because the crap floods every time and still will idle high about 1000 rpms but rev is still slow. fuel pressure test and going to clear out the cat tonight any other suggestions?

80 on all six jumps sequentially you mean? there's 2 rotors and 3 pulses per rotor. 80 isn't exactly a promising figure but if all 6 faces show 80 then it should run somewhat ok.
and yes, injectors can't be rebuilt so that could be why you were getting run around from the various shops. they are "serviced" which is just a thorough internal cleaning. there is "on car service" which is a waste of time, money and fuel to perform and there is "off car service" which they are sonically cleaned, flushed with solvent and then flow tested(this is the only real way to service injectors).
if the car is hitting a wall at 4k RPMs then you likely have a ground issue or secondary injector issue only, this is if the engine idles smooth and runs fine below that 4k point. if the car floods easily, shakes like a paint shaker at idle and revs like a geo metro with a bad cylinder then you probably have a primary injector issue if the compression is fine.

no shake, no smoke, from idle then wot revs slow as hell doesnt miss or back fire idles smooth just high will even drive just not fast does flood easy.
now my n/a car (i havent gotten into it) same thing drifted like a champ all weekend i did fix a low idle was like 400 rpms then drifted all weekend was at a idle while changing tires went to leave and bog slow rev under wot also jumped the crap out of the car a few runs before...
so grounding issue will rev under 4k?

i dont know how to check the tps i assume i should look it up, the spark plug wires t1 and t2 was crossed and all trailing plugs installed i changed them of course, could having all the plugs wrong messed up the coils?
won't hurt the coils, will hurt how the engine runs. crossed trailings will want to fire the engine at the complete wrong time while the intake path is exposed. crossing the plugs themselves you probably would have never even known.
yes i have two n/a and turbo....working on the turbo first
last night i tested the tps ...When testing the green and black wires started at 1k then dropped to 600 wot, When grounding the meter to the battery worked good, so conflicted about results..
was a a shop so tested the back pressure from the o2 port had 3 lbs of back pressure at 3k but no back pressure at idle ..again conflicted i believe its still restricted also i noticed that the mufflers are colder than the cat and cat i the hottest part of the exhaust ...that may be a noob statement but never noticed that before... i didnt plug o2 back in because seems to run better with out it .its back in place but not connected.
as far as bad gas i havent done the compression on the n/a but has fresh gas the turbo yeah could be has been sitting for 4 months due to a bad turbo.
going to replace the fuel filter because who knows when if ever tht has been done
does seem like the more i run the turbo the better it get the more i run the n/a the worse it runs on the n/a car when it was running right i noticed that the cat was glowing red hot im guessing that is probably the issue .....theses cars will be the death of me im sure
Both cars flood as soon as key is turned on
the n/a has a switch that i turn off the pump and let the car die so it will start easier
new plugs in both and wires
both run rich.

also found this its has a plug on it and its in the intake mani. have no clue what it is but learned last night its obviously not the stock engine tried to look it up on alldata but wasnt successful
Witch hunter probably wouldn't be that long of a turn around. I live in Florida (although I'm in Wyoming right now and the snow sucks). I had witch hunter do my injectors and it was days from time I shipped to time I received them back. They are in Washington so I'm sure Wyoming would be less time.
Yes snow sucks i live in cheyenne Wy, and my daily is a 240 im from boca raton fl last night was trouble shooting with a friend of mine and actually thinking the ground wire to and from the ecu to the tps is not grounded right which the wires are just twisted together, was thinking i could run a ground from the battery to the black wire and also un twist them and put male female connectors in place of where the twists are?
