This is kind of a stupid question, but I want to make sure I get it right. Where do the primary injectors go? Are they the ones closer to the driver side of the engine while the secondaries are the ones closer to passenger side?

It's an S4 JSPEC motor if it matters. I just got all new injectors and want to make sure I throw them in the right place.

 

The primaries are in the lower fuel rail, the fuel line goes to them first, then to the secondary rail.
