Fuel Injector Pigtail Question
Car: 1988 Vert, Mostly stock.
I recently experienced a fuel leak which I took care of with new hoses, but now I have a no start issue after the car operating for a few days. I installed new spark plugs and checked all fuses and for any other issues that I could find. I thought perhaps the fuel injectors were experiencing an issue. I pulled the UIM off today and found that one of the injectors wiring was frayed and I don't know if they were touching or not but I am going to replace them.
Would this explain why one set of spark plugs would be dry and the other set was wet from fuel? Also, would frayed wires in the injector wire clips cause the car to not start?
I just need confirmation of this. Thanks in advance!
