Fuel hardlines leaking
Fuel hardlines leaking
Both of my hardlines have sprung pinhole leaks right in front of the tank. I guess they didn't take to the Walbro too well....
Anyway, is there any way at all to repair these? I don't really want to make new lines and put in.

I wouldn't mess around with fuel lines...too dangerous.
Wouldn't be surprised if you patched 'em and the pressure just found the next weakest spot to attack.
Can't be that expensive to replace.

i wouldnt suggest the cheap way out. if those lines are springin leaks then you might as well replace them. when messing with gas never take the cheap lazy exit. they arent expensive and it wont take you very long.

You can patch them with a small section of rubber hose (I ran my car like that for years). But ideally you will just replace the hardlines. They are not nearly as expensive as you might think. Also you can get generic lines from an auto parts store and bend them yourself (rent the little tube bender...it won't cost much).
Well.... I cheaped out for now....
Cut out a 2' section of rusted/corroded line on both feed and return and replaced them with rubber line. It will have to do until I get more inspired. Haha....
