Fuel guage/light problem

So my s5 rx7 fuel guage stays just below 1/4 and the fuel light stays on no matter what... How can I fix this? It was working fine before I went standalone and removed the stock ecu harness... Any thoughts?

the wiring for the engine is not part of that, did you swap out the fuel pump?
