When I first fill up with gas it works then at half a tank it drops to E and doesnt work again until I fill up again. Any help?

So what I need is a fuel level float sensor. Where is this sensor? I was about to get a new fuel pump maybe a Walbro. Will this come with anything to fix my problem?

Check the float in the fuel tank. It possible something is stuck or broken. Not than hard, just lift up the hatch carpeting and remove the screws (8?) to the fuel tank and then you can lift the pump and sending unit out.

 

The Float Sensor Is the Black Box at the end of the rod. The Walbro doesn't come with the assembly. Sold seperately.

This happned to my 7, the float just stoped floating lol
I just went to a junk yard and got the arm and float. Had it fixed in 20 min
