Fuel Gauge

Hey Guys,

Was wondering, when I turn my key to on (but don't crank) my sender shows the right amount of fuel, however, when I turn the car on, the fuel level drops.

So, when I fill up, I put about 10 gallons in max so I know I have a lot of gas left...as currently I'm pulling anywhere from 100-150miles on a supposded tank, when I know I have at least four-five more gallons left in the 16 gallon tank...is this a grounding issue or something of that nature...
