fuel filter and thermostat location
sorry i've looked and searched through some threads but never got a definite answers.. i dont know if this is just basic knowledge and if you're suppose to know this by FSM (i looked at my online one but i couldnt find it either, can someone comfirm if its in there?) or whatever... but i'm extremely car illiterate and trying to learn more.. can someone tell me the location of both so i can change em today!
also tips on switching them or warnins would also help!

The fuel filter is located in the right back corner (drivers side) basically between the firewall and the frame rail.
Now if you need to change that you would might want to change your fuel pump pickup screen which is attached to your fuel pump in the tank. That you can get access to through the panel under your rear hatch carpet.
The thermostate is located right under the metal pipe that the upper radiator hose connects to.

crap lol alright thanks both of you for showing me the picture and giving me the warning! i was also wodnering if i could replace those hoses with silicon hose technique hoses?

It's easy to see the difference...the high pressure hose has an extra liner in it (the Goodyear stuff I bought at Checkers has a blue liner)- looks like a hose in a hose actually.
When I replaced the filter and hoses I also replaced all the clamps with ones like this...
.
They come in size specific ranges and provide even clamping pressure without digging into the rubber hose. PepBoys sells em in packs of four for a few bucks.
