fuel cut switch the right way

i was wondering if anyone could give me instructions on how to do a fuel cut switch the right way and how to use it so i dont flood my motor trying to start it and i was also wondering how to deflood a motor without using oil or ATF? and if there isnt a way if you could tell me a way without fouling out spark plugs cuz they are getting expensive having to change em out every time my r floods

Yep, follow the instructions in the FAQ for FC sticky thread (found both at the top of this section, as well as the top of the New Member Technical sections) or the factory owners manual.

If they are in decent condition then you can clean them and re-use them.

ok quick question when im am going to start it how do i use the switch flip it and wait 5 sec...and then try to start it or crank it and flip the switch while cranking?

If you know the car is going to flood, turn it off by using the switch.

If it has flooded upon startup, turn the switch off and then crank for about 10 seconds with the pedal to the floor. Then stop cranking, turn on the switch, and start the car.

But the REAL way to fix the issue is to correct whatever problem is causing the flooding. An injector cleaning helps a lot. Another issue could be low compression. The two combined will make the car flood very easily.

i have my cut off switched wired like this.

i have a relay splitting the power wire to my fuel pump and i use the switch to ground the relay. plain and simple.
