Tried searching for it but come up with people with start up problems or leaky injectors. I wanted to know how many of you done it, pixtures, which wires, where you mounted the switch, etc...

i did it on mine it was an 88 n/a that i was trying to baby along till i could do a rebuild

under the driver side of the dash is where the relay for your fuel pump runs u just use the hot wire and splice a switch to it.i hid my switch in the center console where the coins slots are i just used a dremel to make a hole in one of the slots just about any switch will do i used one from an old set of fog lights

and to properly use it when u are ready to turn the car off instead of turning the key u just flip the switch first and let it run out of gas then theres no gas in your injectors to leak then u use the keys to turn the car off

the switch also works as a theft device cause if u get creative with hiding the switch who is gonna take the time to look for it

What are the colors of the wire? And do i splice before or after the relay? What do you prefer?
That's basically what i was gonna do but i was gonna mount the switch near the speaker.
I don't need it to deter any theives because: 1. Quick Release Steering Wheel 2: No A/C (I live in Vegas, reaches like 120f* in the summer) and the car's stripped down.

Sad to see only 1 person answering tho but everyone else seems to know how to upgrade their intake to a cone filter in a hot engine and give drift advice on N/A's.

mine is also in the center console bin... the PO had spliced one into ALL wires back at the fuel pump (including fuel level gauge ones) and run it forward to the dash... so when i got it, I reconnected all but the fuel pump power switch, which i have switched in the previous location. After the rebuild I no longer need it, but its nice to have as a safety thing.

just follow his insturctions^^ the relay is right near the brake pedal on the firewall you cant miss it..and use the black wire you can check it with a test light to make sure you have the right one..also make sure you use a switch rated for 20 amps

if you switch the signal side of the fuel pump relay as opposed to the fuel pump side, you wont see anywhere close to 2 amps, let alone 20. I just re-used the wiring at the fuel pump b/c it was there already... but the better way to do it is switching the signal to the relay.

Hey I also installed one,
I put the switch on the left side of the steering shaft cover. So as you begin to turn the starter the switch is right there on your left hand and its on. And as they said, turn the switch off to starve the lines. Its a great safety switch for theft, and you'll always be able to start the motor.
