Fuel Cut Question

If I get a full exhaust turbo back and I set my boost controller to the lowest it can go (or below 7 PSI) I won't need an FCD right.

can you actually limit the bost to under 8.6 and if so how? And my fuel cut seems to come on a little sooner than 8.6 and yes I do have a boost gauge...

wallin, when it comes to modifying a turbo engine car, never go cheap on the fuel system. Sure you can 'limit' your boost, but what about creep? One bit too lean, and BAM, your engine might pop a seal

For the extra 100 bucks for a FCD it could very well save your motor and your pocket in the long run...

I dont really like the idea of a FCD because all its doing is lying about the boost. Use the $100 toward getting the ecu reprogramed (at least thats what Cork sport told me. If you run much higher than where the fcd is saying the boost is than you are not delivering enough fuel anyways and you can still blow the motor...

I was planning on just doing the exhaust and everything, getting a walbro and like a month or two after that i was planning on getting an E6K. If you think it is to risky to even chance for the couple months let me know.

Check the stock pressure sensor hose. It's supposed to have an orifice pill in it.
Also you should port the tiny S4 waste gate.
