They all function basically the same, from comments I've read throughout the forum, the preferred is HKS, due to better electronics/quality (this is just what I've read, mind you) The RB is a good choice as well, and will get the job done without a problem, just be SURE you don't mix up the years! Never read about the Greddy, so I can't offer any light there.

It's been mentioned in the last few days that the RB FCD clamps the voltage at a lower level than some of the other brands/home made ones.
Of course, clamping lower means a leaner map after the FCD comes into play.

All FCD's are about the same... the closer to 5 V the FCD clamps the voltage the better, but electric noise can cause fuel cut. That is why some clamp lower. If you can find one that follows the linear relation of voltage to boost, up until ~3.7 - 4.0 V then give a flat line... then you are in busniess. One specific to the 7 is better then a universal one that will work on many cars. Any will do... what name do you want under your hood and how much do you want to spend. Email this guy if you want one that works but isn't a brand name:
