You can't do it to an S5 AFM, and I would never suggest it on a turbo car anyway. Any adjustment made to the AFM will make the entire fuel map more lean or rich.
Is the car stock, or have things been modified? If you have a catless exhaust, backfires are common when letting off the throttle abruptly. Stock fuel pump and injectors, or have they been changed?

stock injectors it was tuned with broken pintles on the injectors i change the pintles now under high load it like chokes feels to me like it has to much gas and its choking, i just want to lean it out a bitd its so rich i get 11 miles per gallon best, you can smell straight gas from the exhaust. Also after fixing the pintles it idles at about 3k now.. pretty sure everything was hooked back up right any ideas?

google search apexi safc or afc or afc neo. all of these you can find used for under 300. it is a piggyback for your stock map and you can adjust points to make it leaner or richer for those points. i found one in the classifieds here for cheap, and im waiting for my tuner to tune my car soon, but its simple enough that with a wideband you can tune yourself.
