? Fuel Cell capacity of S4 Vert?

Does anyone have a link to or information for the capacity of the fuel cell on a 88 vert? My gage operates normally until I put about 200 miles on a full tank but then it drops to empty in a mere seconds. I think the float must have gotten bent or something. I know rotarys are not great on gas but.. cmon.

(I bought the car with this problem from the previous owner so I dont know how many miles I should be getting on a full tank)

On my previous vert I got about 310 miles per full tank with the top down.

You never ever use all 16 gallons.

Most people only use 13 gallons as the gauge then is reporting empty.

Yeah that's what happens to me most of the time when I fill it up and it says it's on empty on either car. Milelage wise I think I get around 200 to 230 on my '88 'vert, really really dependant on how I drive it.
